Christian Ryan

Christian J. A. Ryan is a seasoned professional in design & construction management, with extensive experience in the defense sector. In 2005, he joined the Ministry of Defence (MOD). He later contributed his expertise to SERCO Defence and INTERSERVE Defence.

In 2015, following the Gorkha Earthquake, Christian was deployed to Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dharan in Nepal to assess the structural integrity of local buildings. From 2021 to 2024, he served at MITIE Defence, where he oversaw the planning, development, and delivery of scheduled maintenance for the MOD Estate. Over the past 20 years, Christian has led internal and external technical inspection teams and has collaborated with local and global specialists and contractors, both onshore and offshore, to ensure compliance with U.K. best practices and regulations.

Christian holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Design and Construction Management with Information Technology from the University of Greenwich. He also completed an Advanced General National Vocational Qualification in Construction and the Built Environment at the College of Further Education in Gibraltar. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
